The foundation class is very similar in structure. The session starts with a group warm up and activation. Similarly, a handful of techniques are drilled during the class with a focus on technique. Students are given time to refine their skills. Once they have progressed onto the advanced class, emphases will weigh more heavily on the application of techniques.
Each sessions ends with optional lights rounds of sparring.

Covering striking arts, including Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai. Learn and practice a fusion of techniques and principles drawn from the history of martial arts.
Each week we focus on a specific area, ranging from offensive striking to specific footwork patterns. Each session will involve group activation drills, technical work with other students and half an hour of sparring to finish.
This class is for competitors and is therefore invite only.

This dynamic class is designed to develop strong striking skills tailored for MMA competition. It begins with a comprehensive group warm-up, followed by technical drills or pad work with a partner to enhance precision and power. The session concludes with either controlled sparring or a high-energy cardio finisher aimed at boosting fight-specific fitness. Our goal is to equip your child with effective striking techniques that are versatile and practical in real MMA scenarios, providing a well-rounded foundation to support their growth in the sport. Through disciplined training and encouragement, we help build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of fitness.

BOXING
The Monday boxing class is a chance for our team to start the week how we mean to go on. This session is geared towards an intermediate level student.
During this class we work on a lot of fundamentals but also include some advanced concepts which allows our students to expand their knowledge and capabilities.
The class consists of a group warm up, some techniques on the pads or partner drills with a circuit style training to finish.
The class has very limited sparring so emphasis is put on technique and fitness.

The Monday night MMA class gives all our students a chance to reinforce some of MMA’s essential techniques. Following our sparring sessions on the Saturday, Monday nights are used to cover some of the areas that need attention and give the students confidence going into the training week ahead.
Much like the boxing class there is limited sparring and emphasis is put on establishing solid technique.
This class is for intemediate and above so students attending this class must have a good foundation with their striking and grappling.

JUNIOR KIDS
(6-10) - MMA STRIKING

Welcome to a fun and engaging introduction to MMA for younger children. This class features a lively warm-up, followed by striking techniques taught in a safe, supportive environment with our experienced coaches. The session wraps up with fight-specific games that promote agility, coordination, and light contact sparring as students progress. When ready, students will be gradually introduced to body sparring to develop practical self-defence skills and confidence. Our primary aim is to instil a lifelong love of fitness and martial arts, while teaching fundamental striking skills that can serve as a strong foundation for future training. Parents can rest assured knowing their children are learning in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.

APEX ARMY is professional space for likeminded individuals to come together and better themselves through martial arts. From teenagers trying to find their feet to veterans looking for new direction, everyone is treated equally on the mat and we all share the same goal; to be better than yesterday!

INTERMEDIATE
STRIKING

The intermediate class serves as the bridge between our foundation and advanced classes, catering to students with some experience in MMA who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Like the advanced class, each session starts with a dynamic group warm-up and activation to prepare students for the training ahead.
Focused on building their techniques and understanding of the striking arts, the intermediate class delves into a variety of offensive striking and specific footwork patterns, providing a well-rounded curriculum.
Technical work with other students plays a pivotal role, allowing participants to refine their existing skills and learn new ones in a collaborative environment. As students’ progress through the intermediate class, the emphasis gradually shifts towards the practical application of techniques, setting the stage for potential lower-level interclub competitions.
The session will end with sparring, offering an opportunity for students
to test and further develop their skills, preparing them for the possibility of competing at a higher level in the future. For those uncertain about their placement, attending the foundation class remains an excellent starting point, allowing our coaches to assess and guide individuals toward the most suitable training path.

PERSONAL TRAINING
One to one coaching sessions are a great way to accelerate your MMA progress and fitness. Coaches are able to give their undivided attention to clients, coaching and developing their skills much faster. It also means students get to have a very tailored experience and in turn allows them to focus on their goals, whether that be weight loss, technical improvements, or a specific martial art.
Clients are also able to gain first-hand experience from head coach Adam Apex.

Our intermediate grappling class is for individuals seeking to bridge the gap between the fundamentals and the advanced concepts of grappling in MMA. Tailored for those with some grappling experience, this class provides a balance between honing essential techniques and expanding the students repertoire. As students progress from the foundational movements, they gradually move on to more complex
grappling scenarios, emphasising escapes and transitioning seamlessly into initiating their own submissions. The structured curriculum ensures a steady progression, making it an ideal choice for those eager to enhance their grappling proficiency within
MMA. The class maintains the usual structure.
These classes provide an introduction into grappling. Students will be taken through some of the fundamental movements and slowly encouraged into grappling scenarios where they can put into practice what they have learned. We see that beginners tend to find themselves in bad spots more regularly, so with this in mind students will usually focus on escapes, gradually moving onto submissions of their own.
The class is great for people starting out or for the more advanced that are looking to brush up on the basics.

The Sunday grappling class focuses on refining essential techniques and situational awareness through a combination of drills, sparring and intense exercises.
Sundays emphasise technique enhancement and tactical understanding. This works along side controlled sparring sessions to apply learned skills in real-time scenarios.
Through targeted drills and supportive yet challenging training environments, students strengthen their grappling fundamamantels.
This class is open to all levels.

These MMA sessions are a chance for our students to put together the skills they have learned over the week. Rather than having the striking and grappling disciplines as two separate entities, in these classes students will work on transitions from striking to grappling and vice-versa.
Focusing on areas such as punches into takedowns, cage wrestling and everything in-between.
Our 9-10 class is for intermediate level students so they must have a foundation in both striking and grappling.
Our 10-11:30 class is advanced and this for competitors. Like the Advanced striking and grappling classes, this is invite only.
Sessions starts with a group warm up, partner drills and finishes with MMA sparring.
The MMA sessions include more sparring than the other sessions during the week.

Full plan & student plan (must provide student id), gives access to all classes. This membership can be used by intermediate students and above.
Foundation plan gives access to Tuesday night foundation striking, Thursday night foundation grappling & Sunday no gi grappling.
All beginners will only have access to these classes.
Students must reach a certain level in striking and grappling before they move on to the MMA sesions and the other classes.
Memberships are all paid via direct debit. One month notice is needed for cancellation.
